and we support the determination of the federal government to eradicate
it from our communities.

Meet our management team:
Dr. Lynn H.Tait - President
Dr. Tait is a nationally recognized expert in the Lead-based paint
industry where she has been active for over 25 years. Her experience
encompasses all aspect of this national problem. Lynn is fortunate
to have experienced the industry from a variety of different perspectives,
providing her with a unique insight shared by few others.
She is a previous faculty member of Georgia Tech, and is currently
a part time faculty member of the University of Florida (Gainesville)
where she has taught Initial and Refresher Lead-based Paint Inspector,
and Initial and Refresher Lead-based Paint Risk Assessor courses,
for 17 years.
Lynn has also participated in numerous trade associations and has
assisted several federal entities (including HUD) in developing
lead based paint standards, and testing methodologies. This participation
has been substantial and is far too extensive to include
in detail here, but some examples are:
• 1988 National Institute of Building Sciences Committee that
developed guidelines for HUD.
• Lynn participated in revisions and improvements to these
guidelines in 1990, 1995, and
1997.
• Furthermore Lynn is an active member of the ASTM E06.23
which is involved in developing a wide range of Lead-based paint
initiatives ranging from XRF measurements to worker safety.
• Lynn was a participating member of the 1993 National Institute
of Science Lead-Based Paint Committee.
• She is also a past Board Member of the Board of Trustees
of the National Lead Assessment and Abatement Council (NLAAAC) and
served as Secretary from 1991 -2000.
Lynn has been the President and major shareholder of ERCLEAD, Inc. dba Environmental
Resource Consultants (ERC) since 1975. ERC is a state certified
Small Minority Business Enterprise based in Tampa, Florida
that primarily operates in the south eastern states. Lynn has consulted and offered Lead-based paint training
and services in every aspect imaginable to public and private entities
ranging from Housing Authorities and Non Profits, to institutions
such as hospitals and ALC facilities, as well as Developers, Contractors
and Industrial Facilities. Dr. Tait is an EPA accredited: Lead-based
Paint Inspector, Lead-based Paint Risk Assessor, Lead-Safe Work
Practices Instructor and (RRP) training program manager and Principal Instructor. She is also
certified as a Train the Trainer.

Robert
Martin, Vice President
Robert has over 25 years of construction related experience. Although
he was born and raised in New Zealand, he immigrated to South Africa
where he completed his education. Robert has the equivalent of a
Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Product Management and Technology.
He lived in South Africa for over 20 years before immigrating to
the United States in early 1992.
In South Africa Robert worked in the Glazing and Protective Window
Film industry. For over 10 years he owned the largest window film
installation business in the country, and was a major shareholder
in a large paving business, as well as a laminated glass manufacturing
company.
Robert specialized in commercial, federal and defense contracts.
He was active in numerous trade associations, and was appointed
to the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research where he assisted
with the development of national standards for protective glazing
against terrorist attack.
Since arriving in the United States, he has held senior management
positions at national construction related manufacturers, distributors
and dealers.
He has been active in trade associations and is a two term board
member and previous president of the International Window Film Association.
For his contribution to the industry he was awarded the Chairman's
Award for Exemplary Performance. Robert was also Chairman of the
Window Film Manufacturers Committee of the Association of Metallizers,
Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) and received the AIMCAL Presidents
Award for Outstanding Contribution and Service.
For the past 5 years Robert has held senior management and ownership
positions in the hurricane protection industry, and is a past member
of the International Hurricane Protection Association and the American
Shutter Systems Association.
Robert is known as an innovative and energetic leader, a skilled
communicator, team builder, and an adept negotiator. He
has demonstrated ability to evaluate products, markets and growth
opportunities, and to subsequently introduce strategic and tactical
plans to capitalize on them.
It is Robert’s responsibility to determine ERC’s success
by virtue of instituting a stable well organized and structured
company platform. The foundation of the company is based on the
highest standards of scientific accuracy, exceptional customer service
and complete business integrity.
